Does the publisher tell you the odds?
No. Official product pages state only '1 pack = 12 cards, 1 box = 24 packs' (EN); all rates above are community-collected.
Digimon Card Game
Guaranteed slots: JP pack: 4 C + 1 U + 1 slot that is R, SR, SEC or Alternative Art (community-verified, highly consistent). EN pack mirrors this at double density. JP box additionally contains exactly 1 box topper and exactly one card that is either a SEC or an Alternative Art.
The JP:EN relationship is clean — one EN box ≈ two JP boxes of game cards, and observed EN yields scale accordingly. EN boxes also include a box-topper pack (retailer/community knowledge, medium confidence).
Confidence is part of the data: a low-confidence range is an honest answer, a precise-looking number without a basis is not.

≈7–8 SR per EN box and ≈2 SEC-or-AltArt per EN box (inferred from EN box = 2× JP game cards; consistent with community per-card probabilities: SR ~2%, SEC ~0.2%)

Box topper
1 promo/box-topper card (or topper pack in EN) per booster box
Approximate frequency: 1 per box, both regions
source →SP special-foil parallels
Ultra-rare gold/special-stamp parallels seeded above SEC — the closest Digimon gets to a serialized-tier chase; no god-pack mechanic exists in Digimon
Approximate frequency: ~1 per 2 cases (JP, community data, medium confidence)
Sets: modern main boosters (data point: BT-15; structure stable across nearby sets)
Rates drift between sets, print waves, and regions; where our sources disagreed we kept the disagreement visible instead of averaging it away. Nothing on this page is investment or purchase advice — it exists so you know what a box is before you buy one.
